Privacy Policy for Getting Things Down
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Getting Things Down ("we," "us," or "our") operates gettingthingsdown.com and is developing the Getting Things Down application.
1. Information we collect
When you join the beta list, we collect the email address you provide. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and request logs to operate and secure the website. Existing customers may also have account and purchase records retained to provide products they previously purchased.
The interactive product preview on the homepage runs in your browser. Text entered into that preview is not submitted to our servers by the preview.
2. How we use information
We use beta-list email addresses to send product updates, invitations, and important notices. We use technical information to operate, protect, and improve the website. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, authentication, and payment processing. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and under their own privacy terms.
4. Retention and your choices
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal obligations, and existing customer commitments. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or unsubscribe from beta emails, by contacting support@gettingthingsdown.com.
5. Children
The website and beta are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
7. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@gettingthingsdown.com.
